Field Test

Our Exclusive Field Test includes sport-specific measures of acceleration, running speed, endurance, and recovery. 

We put you in your element – on the turf field here at Sportsplex II, or at your team’s own practice field – and measure everything electronically to maximize accuracy, precision, and reliability. 

The Speed Training Field Testing Protocol includes the following sport-specific assessments:

 

TEST WHAT IT MEASURES WHY IT’S IMPORTANT?
10 – Metre Sprint Acceleration Better acceleration means you run faster over the first few steps in a sprint 
20 – Metre Sprint Average Running Speed 20 metres is the average distance of sprints in most sports – running faster over this distance means you outrun your opponents 
35 – Metre Sprint Maximal Running Speed 35 metres is the maximal distance of sprints in most sports – running faster over this distance means you outrun tour opponents
Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Endurance and Recovery With faster recovery between sprints, you get less tired and can do more of them in competition
